Path of Exile 2: Stellar Amulets Explained
Path of Exile 2: The High Value of White Stellar Amulets
Path of Exile 2's trade market consistently shows high demand for White Stellar Amulets, often fetching 10-15 Exalted Orbs each. This article explains why these seemingly unremarkable amulets command such a premium.
The Astramentis Advantage
The key lies in their potential to become Astramentis, a top-tier unique amulet. Using an Orb of Chance on a normal (white) Stellar Amulet—with its inherent "+# to All Attributes"—offers a chance to transform it into this powerful item.
Astramentis boasts an exceptionally high attribute bonus (80-120 to All Attributes), synergizing perfectly with items like the Hand of Wisdom and Action Furtive Wraps, which scales attack speed and lightning damage based on intelligence and dexterity. Crucially, only white Stellar Amulets can be used to create Astramentis; magic or rare amulets won't work.
To Sell or to Gamble?
The odds of successfully crafting Astramentis with an Orb of Chance are extremely low. While incredibly lucky players might succeed, the risk of destroying the amulet is substantial. Even using multiple amulets doesn't guarantee success.
The choice is yours: sell your White Stellar Amulets for a guaranteed 10-30 Exalted Orbs (depending on market fluctuations), or risk it all for the potential reward of Astramentis. It's a high-stakes gamble.
Using the Orb of Chance
The process is straightforward: place the white Stellar Amulet in your inventory, right-click the Orb of Chance, and left-click the amulet to begin the transformation. Possible outcomes include:
- Amulet destruction.
- Transformation into Astramentis.
- Transformation into Fixation of Yix (a less valuable unique amulet).
Weigh the risks and rewards carefully before deciding whether to sell or gamble with your White Stellar Amulets.
