Path of Exile 2 Trading Guide
In Path of Exile 2, you can trade items in two primary ways: directly with other players in-game or through the official trade website. We'll detail both methods in the following sections.
In-Game Trading
When you're in the same game instance as another player, simply right-click their character and select 'Trade'. Both parties can then place items into the trade window. Once the offer is mutually acceptable, confirm to complete the exchange.
Trading is also possible through global chat or direct messages. Right-click a player's name in chat to invite them to your party. After they join, teleport to their location and right-click their character to initiate a trade.
Using the Official Trade Site

Path of Exile 2 features an auction-house-style system accessible via its official trade site. Please note: you must have a registered Path of Exile account linked to your gaming platform to use it.
To buy an item, use the site's search filters to find what you need. When you find a listing, click the 'Direct Whisper' button. This sends a pre-formatted message to the seller in-game, allowing you to coordinate a meet-up and complete the purchase.
To sell items, you need a Premium Stash Tab, available for purchase in the in-game Microtransaction Shop. Place the item in your Premium Stash and set its visibility to 'Public'. You can right-click the item to set a price, and it will automatically appear on the trade site.
Interested buyers will contact you in-game via whisper to arrange the trade.
