Rainbow Six Siege Welcomes Rauora

Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rauora, the latest addition to Rainbow Six Siege's roster of Attack operators. Hailing from New Zealand, Rauora's unique ability centers around the DOM launcher.

This deployable shield, impervious to bullets (though vulnerable to explosives), is specifically designed for doorway deployment. A clever trigger mechanism allows teammates to open it instantly, while defenders face a three-second delay – a potentially game-changing difference, especially during defuser situations.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. Players can also choose between the M249 LMG and the 417 marksman rifle as primary weapons.

Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a later release date for the main game.
