This installment shifts focus to series veteran Jill Valentine during the initial stages of the Raccoon City outbreak. As the city descends into chaos, Officer Valentine faces threats far beyond ravenous zombies and mutated creatures.

While Resident Evil 3 incorporates the familiar over-the-shoulder perspective introduced in the Resident Evil 2 remake, it also brings back the popular antagonist Nemesis.
