How To Craft & Level Up Gems in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Gem creation utilizes Pyroxene and is accessible at any Inn or tent. Within your room, select "Create Gems" (the second option from the top). You can use Pyroxene to craft gems at a 1:1 ratio. Five distinct gems are craftable, with each Pyroxene offering a random chance of yielding one of these gems.

Newly crafted gems start at level 1 and can be equipped via the Battle Preparations menu. Crafting duplicate gems grants experience points (XP) to the base gem, increasing its effectiveness with each level. For a broad approach, use all Pyroxene at once to create numerous gems and upgrade them randomly.

For targeted gem acquisition, the "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" effect might activate during single-gem crafting. This effect limits the possible gem outcomes for subsequent Pyroxene usage. You can reset this effect by exiting and re-entering the crafting menu. While crafting one gem at a time is slower, it increases the odds of activating "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" for your desired gem. Note that "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" reduces randomness but doesn't eliminate it.

Pyroxene respawns after skirmishes or battles, encouraging exploration of previously visited areas. Letters found in your Inn or tent room may also occasionally contain Pyroxene.
