Squad Busters Ends Win Streaks, Offers Exclusive Emotes

Squad Busters is gearing up for some significant changes, notably the end of the Win Streaks feature. This means players will no longer be able to climb the ladder of consecutive wins to earn extra rewards. This change is part of a broader update that includes other exciting developments.

Why Is It Ending and When?

The decision to end Win Streaks stems from the realization that instead of making players feel like legends, the system was creating undue pressure and frustration. The feature will be removed starting December 16th. However, your highest streak will remain as a legacy achievement on your profile. To soften the blow, Squad Busters is offering exclusive emotes to players who reach specific milestones before the cutoff date. These milestones include 0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins.

Regarding the Coins spent on Win Streaks, the developers have decided not to offer refunds. They argue that Coins are essential for obtaining babies from Reward Chests, and refunding them could disrupt the game's balance, particularly between free-to-play players and those who spend real money.

The community's reaction to the removal of Win Streaks is mixed. Some players welcome the shift away from pay-to-win elements, while others are skeptical, particularly about the value of the farewell emotes.
