Is There Third-Person Mode in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? Answered

Based on the trailers and promotional materials for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the game is designed as a first-person experience. So, the short answer is no; there's no third-person mode. The entire game, excluding cutscenes, is played from Henry's perspective.

This design choice is intentional. The developers aim for complete immersion, believing the first-person perspective best allows players to inhabit Henry's role and truly experience the game world. While the modding community might eventually offer a third-person mod, the base game remains strictly first-person.

You will, however, see Henry in cutscenes and during conversations with NPCs. The camera will shift to show both Henry and the person he's interacting with. His appearance will also change based on dirt accumulation and equipped gear. Just remember, the world is explored exclusively from a first-person viewpoint.

An official third-person mode is highly improbable. If you're planning to play, embrace the first-person perspective.
