"Ultimate Arise Crossover: Beginner's Guide Beta"
If you think *Arise Crossover* is just about collecting Shadow units and attacking defenseless enemies to progress, think again. Even the most dedicated players often find themselves stumped on how to advance, where to level up, and which Shadows to deploy. If you're feeling a bit lost, this guide is your roadmap to mastering the game.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover
In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands boasts several recruitable Shadows and one formidable dungeon Shadow. At the moment, the weakest unit you can get is **Soondoo**, available right from the start, while the powerhouse **Mifalcon** is found on the final Brum Island.
While types matter, it's the ranks that really dictate a unit's potential. A **Rank A Soondoo** will outshine a **Rank D Mifalcon** any day. Higher-ranked units can level up further; a **Rank D unit** tops out at **Level 75**, whereas an **SS unit** can soar to **Level 200**. Your ultimate goal? Assembling a squad of four **SS-ranked Mifalcons**. The journey to get there? That's the fun part.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide
Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* pop up every 30 minutes and linger for 15 minutes. Even if you enter a dungeon right before a portal vanishes, you're good to go as you'll be transported into a separate instance to complete it.
Portals appear at various spots across the islands, with their difficulty rank being a roll of the dice each time. Start your journey by forming a team of **Rank D units** and tackling a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This should net you a solid team and potentially a rare boss Shadow. Remember, **dungeons are your ticket to recruiting Rare and higher-ranked common units**.
When you see a portal spawn message, **go for it**. Even if your team isn't up to snuff, hang around the portal; chances are, a generous player will help you through. Many can solo these dungeons and don't mind bringing along lower-level players. Embrace this community spirit to snag higher-ranking units. **Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is the key to progression in *Arise Crossover*.**
We've experienced the kindness of the community firsthand; a player with Rank C units helped us through a Rank A dungeon, enabling us to recruit Rank A units and eventually reach the endgame. Pay it forward when you can.
Arise Crossover Weapons
During this Beta phase, player weapons are largely ineffective. They might help you deal minor damage early on, but by the second island, their impact diminishes significantly. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the strongest common weapon currently available, costs 60 million and deals 516,1K damage. Compare that to your units dishing out 200-400 million damage, and it's clear that unless you're looking to burn through your cash, **it's best to hold off on weapon purchases until future updates**.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Similar to dungeons, wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, but only one player per server can attempt to claim them. A server-wide message announces each new spawn, though you won't always get notified if someone else beats you to it or if it despawns.
Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the back of the main islands or on smaller islands between them. Check the developer's map for precise spawn points.
You can't claim the same mount twice, and capturing them isn't guaranteed. **Flying mounts** are the rarest, with a mere 10% chance to spawn, while **ground mounts** are more common, and **water mounts** can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC.
To snag a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to all six potential spawn locations. If you miss out, just wait for the next message. We're still on the hunt for a flying mount ourselves. While mounts aren't essential for progressing in the game, having one, especially a flying mount, certainly makes getting around much easier.
That's the gist of it. As *Arise Crossover* receives more updates, we'll keep this beginner's guide fresh. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the *Arise Crossover* codes for some cool freebies.
