Welcome back to the wonderfully weird.

Welcome to Tumblr: your next favorite artist's home. You'll arrive for the vibrant digital art spanning every fandom imaginable. You'll stay for the stunning original creations from those same artists. And woven between all the art, you'll find classic internet energy, every fandom you could dream of, and enough memes to overwhelm a decent-sized animal. Add to it or simply scroll through and let it all soak in.

Every piece of life-changing art you discover, every mesmerizing waterfall GIF you watch, every quote you reblog, every tag you collect—it's all a reflection of you. Sharing them shows the world who you are and what you love. You are the explorer here. We're just the map, constantly being redrawn by everyone. Consider this your home. Make it your own.

For artists, you're entering a community that will genuinely embrace your work. Think of this as your digital studio with endless possibilities: a portfolio to showcase your creations with built-in social interaction; a space to brainstorm ideas, share sketches, and get feedback. Accept requests and commissions or join art challenges like Goblin Week, Mermay, Julycanthropy, and Yeehawgust. Debate the fine details of your favorite brushes. Create original character art for writers on Tumblr. Sell prints (coasters! mugs! tchotchkes!) to an audience that supports you and actively shops through our Artist Alley. Even start a webcomic (ever heard of *Heartstopper*? It started here).

Now imagine all of that, but accessible on the move. That's exactly what this is.

If you've seen it somewhere else, chances are it began right here. That incredible digital painting you can't forget. That hilarious text post diving deep into a subject you never knew you needed to understand. Your dashboard will transform into a tapestry of everything wonderful, absurd, and magical that you love. Whether you actively post, quietly like things, or reblog to your personal online scrapbook, you'll find a ready-made home here for any community.

When you have something to share—a hot take on the details of a Virgo moon, some Barbie fanfiction, a must-see photo of your turtle Harold—go for it with a photo, video, or text post. Record an audio post of your thoughts or share your current favorite song via Spotify. We even have a preset chat post format for all your favorite incorrect quotes.

The reblog is how conversations begin and jokes evolve, sometimes traveling across the globe and lasting for years. It's a sense of time and space, right at your fingertips. Whatever you choose to send into our lively digital atmosphere, know it can and will go anywhere. (Unless, of course, you use our post-level controls. Want a private blog or post? That's all possible here).

Tumblr is the heart of fandom. We all have that special character from our favorite shows. You'll find fanart you'll want to stare at, reblog, and stare at again—or create yourself and share with the community. You can read your favorite authors on AO3 *and* see their original art here *and* discuss lore intricacies with them. Pokémon? Yes. Marvel? Absolutely. K-pop? Check. Supernatural? Naturally. Minecraft? It's ready for you. Star Wars? Of course. Doctor Who? Doctor YOU! You get the picture: it's all here.

It's a whole universe out here. If the idea of creating, reblogging, shipping, and curating feels a bit overwhelming, visit tips.tumblr.com. There, Cat Frazier from animatedtext.tumblr.com will guide you through the finer points of Tumblr culture—the brilliant, the bizarre, and everything in between.

So, sign up, fall in love with some art, follow some tags, and find your spot on the dashboard. Then reblog, like, and post to your heart's content. Or simply drift through the unique world you've built for yourself—you hold the keys to this kingdom.
