Our second Sloword application is now available, offering a fresh and engaging experience with Scanwords. Upon launching the app, you can access Scanword directly from the first screen by clicking the image, or navigate to it through the Settings under the "Other applications" section. Dive into this modern twist on traditional crosswords for a refreshing change.

Scanwords in Russian stand out as a unique phenomenon globally. No other language boasts such a rich tapestry of literary questions, humorous puzzles, and queries reflecting current world events, all woven into the fabric of everyday crosswords. The Russian people have a deep affinity for words, cherishing and respecting them as invaluable treasures.

Our application features a diverse array of Scanwords, ranging from simple to complex, some enhanced with photographs, and others with classic or associative questions such as "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's hints. Each magazine includes an English-Russian Scanword and a "holey" one, the name of which you'll soon understand. Every page is greeted by a character from our cheerful family, inviting you to join our community.

All Scanwords are freely accessible to our readers. This annual collection comprises 52-53 issues, each containing 20 Scanwords. The complete yearly set will occupy approximately 50 MB on your phone, as the images are kept small and the text remains straightforward. We respect your device's storage space.

No internet connection is required to solve the puzzles, provided the Scanwords are already downloaded on your device. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you've enabled the "notification" feature, you'll receive a reminder at 12:00 local time each Friday. Upon opening the app, the latest issue downloads automatically and, once successful, will not be repeated. You also have the option to download or delete any magazine individually or download all magazines at once through the "Settings."

The core features, including access to all Scanwords, are free for users. Advertising supports the app, allowing one narrow banner per page and one interstitial ad before opening a Scanword. Our advertisers ensure they do not interrupt the solving process and reward viewers with free hints for watching their videos.

Readers have the option, but not the obligation, to manage advertising through the "Shop": a) permanently disable ads, b) subscribe to remove ads and gain unlimited hints during the subscription period, or c) collect hints in bulk. All these options are clearly displayed in the "Shop."
