Mastering Marvel Rivals: Friend Invites and Team Play

Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 hero shooter offering both matchmaking and the option to team up with friends. However, currently, cross-progression and cross-play are unavailable, meaning you can only add friends on the same platform. The developers have confirmed this feature is planned for a future update.

Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals

Locate the friend icon, usually situated in the upper corner near your player profile. Clicking this reveals a list of recently played players, allowing you to directly add them to your friends list.

Alternatively, utilize the search bar. Input a username, press Enter, and then add the player from the search results. They must accept your friend request before appearing on your list.

Playing With Friends

Once your friends list is populated, initiating a match is straightforward.

1. Access your friends list via the icon in the top right corner.
2. Select the desired friend's username.
3. Send them an invite.
4. Queue together for quick play or competitive matches.

Console players benefit from automatic friend integration. Friends added at the system level will usually appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
