Adin Ross Vows Long-Term Sobriety After Sobering Streak

Adin Ross Recommits to Kick, Hints at "Bigger" Plans

Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform long-term. Ross's unexpected absence from Kick earlier in 2024 fueled rumors of a potential departure, but his recent return with a new livestream and a public statement puts those rumors to rest.

Ross, known for his engaging (and sometimes controversial) streams, joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other high-profile streamers, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success for Ross on the platform, his abrupt absence in 2024 sparked uncertainty among fans and led to reports of potential conflict with Kick CEO Ed Craven. However, a joint livestream with Craven in December 2024 clarified the situation, confirming Ross's commitment to Kick.

A subsequent tweet from Ross further solidified his decision, assuring fans of his return and long-term presence on the platform. His January 2025 livestream, marking his return after a 74-day hiatus, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, served as a strong visual confirmation.

Ambitious Future Projects on the Horizon

Ross's announcement also included a tantalizing hint of "something even bigger" in the works. While details remain scarce, many speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he's expressed a desire to expand with Kick's support. Given past legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.

Ross's continued presence is a significant boost for Kick, which is aggressively pursuing its ambitious goal of surpassing or acquiring Twitch, as stated by co-founder Bijan Tehrani. Kick's current momentum, fueled by strategic partnerships with top streamers, suggests this ambitious target isn't entirely unrealistic.
