Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer
Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial overhaul by modder Celerev, injects roguelike elements into the original Trials of Tav mod. This update significantly ramps up the challenge.
Key features include a roster of new enemies, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to challenge even veteran players. Conquering this behemoth is considered a true testament to skill.
Beyond the superboss, the mod adds over 60 enemies from the base game, including rare encounters like Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep. Gameplay mechanics have also been tweaked: trading has been rebalanced, and the difficulty curve adjusted to prevent new enemy abilities from becoming insurmountable hurdles.
Celerev extends their thanks to Hippo0o, the creator of the original Trials of Tav, acknowledging their contribution to a foundation that allows for such expansive modding. Importantly, the original Trials of Tav remains available for players preferring the classic experience.
For players seeking a demanding challenge or a way to pass the time while awaiting Patch 8 (with its promised crossplay and other enhancements), Trials of Tav - Reloaded offers a compelling alternative.
