Battle Crush Announces EOS Just Few Months After Early Access Launch
NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush, much sooner than anticipated. The game, which launched in early access in June 2024 and held a global test in August 2023, will be shutting down on November 29th, 2024. This is surprising, given the game hadn't even reached its full release.
Battle Crush Shutdown Date and Refunds:
The in-game shop is already closed. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund. Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Access to the game itself will cease on November 28th, 2024; download any desired content before then. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes. Social media and Discord will close on January 31st, 2025.
Why the Early Closure?
The game's closure is disappointing for players, especially those who invested time and resources. While enjoyable, Battle Crush apparently fell short of expectations. Feedback indicated somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues, preventing it from achieving the desired level of polish and player engagement.
You can still download Battle Crush from the Google Play Store before its servers go offline. For those seeking a new mobile gaming experience, consider checking out our next article covering the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
