Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility

The mission begins with Case and Marshall inside a Kentucky BioTech facility, battling toxic gas and navigating a malfunctioning elevator. A resulting hallucination disorients the player. Upon regaining control, locate a locked red-lit door. Use a hatchet found on a mannequin to break it open. Proceed through the hallway, ascend the stairs, and find the elevator in the central hall.

Accessing the Biotechnology Room

Activating the elevator triggers a zombie encounter (a hallucination effect). Eliminate the zombies with your hatchet. A phone call at the circular desk directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll receive a map to the Yellow card.

Obtaining the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook

Follow the map to a yellow staircase. Solve the computer puzzle in the Director's office (answers: "Access" and "Lift"). More zombies await in the A.C.R. room. A mannequin holds the Yellow card, but interacting with it summons an abomination. Before confronting it, gather armor, weapons, and the crucial grappling hook.

Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to efficiently eliminate the abomination and its horde. Retrieve the Yellow card from its remains.

Securing the Green Card

Use the grappling hook to return to the main facility. Locate the grappling point to the left of the security desk (facing the elevator) to reach the Administration Facility. Answer the ringing phone and find four documents to place in the file display area.

Mannequins will pursue you; maintain distance by sprinting. Document locations: corner desk, left side near a round table, center table near a noticeboard, and the cafe near a sink. Defeating the resulting Mangler Zombie yields the Green card.

Acquiring the Blue Card

Grapple across from the Administration balcony to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the phone, locate the camera stands surrounding a glass chamber, and find the Blue Card. Eliminate the Mimic that appears.

The Mimic's ability to disappear requires shooting moving objects to trigger its transformation.

Retrieving the Red Card

Head to the East Wing, following the red carpets to a room with water, a console, and a Mangler. Interact with the console to reveal the Red Card. Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, swim through the red tunnel, climb the ladders, and eliminate zombies. Unlock the door using the blacklight code (unique to each player).

Activate the console, then turn all drain switches within 25 seconds. After draining the water, follow the Mangler's path and defeat it along with its zombie horde to obtain the Red card.

Confronting the Disciple

Insert all four cards into the security desk system. Ride the elevator to the top floor and answer the red phone. Eliminate the zombies and the Disciple in the ensuing confrontation. The mission concludes with a final hallucination sequence.
