Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a collaboration with the BIG Festival.

A panel of 49 judges selected finalists across 13 categories. All nominees were playable on the show floor, notably featuring mobile games alongside PC titles, a refreshing departure from typical genre segregation. This inclusive approach underscores the significant role mobile gaming plays in the broader landscape.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known gems. This win brings well-deserved recognition to the game.
