Unlocking Master Schindel's Toys in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This guide provides a walkthrough for completing the "Master Schindel's Toys" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Finding the stolen items can be tricky, so follow these steps for a smooth completion.

The quest begins during the "Into the Underworld" main mission. You'll need to locate an informant named Goatskin. Start by speaking with the Bathhouse Madam, then Adam. Adam reveals Goatskin's theft from Master Schindel.

To find the elusive Goatskin, you can either speak with Lousy Mary or follow Udo (following Udo is recommended). Udo, a bathhouse patron, appears on the first floor in the evening. Follow him discreetly; Goatskin will attempt to rob him in an alley, providing an opportunity for confrontation.

During this encounter, try to acquire the "Map of Kuttenberg Underground" from Goatskin (bribery may be necessary). The map leads to the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city). Examine the hanging corpse to retrieve the map.

Navigating the Kuttenberg Underground is challenging.

Locating the Stolen Items

For efficient item retrieval, locate the northern ladder leading into the underground zone. Take your torch; it's dark down there. Make consecutive left turns until you reach a barrel at a dead end (you'll need to jump down at one point). The barrel contains the stolen book and astrolabe.

Return to Master Schindel (usually found northeast of the city during the day) to complete the quest. He'll reward you for your efforts and might even share some astronomical knowledge.

Completing this side quest yields reputation points and additional rewards.
