The Last of Us Complete includes the main narratives of both games along with all the bonus content released over the years. This encompasses the Left Behind prequel DLC focusing on Ellie, as well as The Last of Us Part 2's No Return and Lost Levels content. If you're a fan of the HBO TV series featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey and are yet to explore the original video games, this digital bundle is available for $99.99.

As detailed in a PlayStation.Blog post by Naughty Dog's Head of Studio, Neil Druckmann, the physical The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition is scheduled for release on July 10, priced at $109.99. Pre-orders are now open. This edition includes additional collectibles such as a Steelbook case, game discs, The Last of Us: American Dreams comics 1 – 4, four lithographic art prints, and a personal thank-you letter from Druckmann.

In his blog post, Druckmann expressed gratitude to the fans, saying, “From our entire studio, thank you so much for your incredible support for The Last of Us and Naughty Dog over the years. This is such an exciting moment for both the franchise and our teams. We are so humbled by your personal stories of what the series has meant to you, have marveled at your incredible Photo Mode shots, and inspired to keep pushing ourselves forward to create more stories and worlds you’ll love.”

The Last of Us series initially debuted on the PS3 in 2013 and has since become a cherished part of the PlayStation library. However, its numerous re-releases and remasters have sparked debates among fans and critics. The journey of Joel and Ellie was enhanced for the PS4 in 2014, remade for the PS5 in 2022, and continued with The Last of Us Part 2 in 2020, which was later remastered in early 2024. Both titles have also been ported to PC, with The Last of Us Part 1 arriving in 2023 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered just last week.

The Last of Us Complete consolidates all of Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic adventures into one comprehensive package. While some may question the need for another re-release, the timing aligns with the upcoming premiere of HBO's The Last of Us Season 2 this Sunday, with Season 3 being greenlit just yesterday.

For further insights into The Last of Us, you can explore why many fans aren't anticipating news on The Last of Us Part 3 anytime soon, as well as how Neil Druckmann and the team behind the show plan to expand the story in the future.
