Crashlands 2 Hits Android as Sci-Fi Survival Hit
Butterscotch Shenanigans returns with the highly anticipated sequel to their 2016 hit, Crashlands. Following the original game's massive success with millions of players, Crashlands 2 delivers more outrageous alien adventures with significant upgrades.
What's New in Crashlands 2?
Players reprise their role as Flux Dabes, the perpetually annoyed shipping rep from the first game. After years of bureaucratic drudgery at the Bureau of Shipping, Flux returns to Woanope for a much-needed vacation - only to get immediately caught in an explosion that strands them in unfamiliar territory.
The revamped Woanope now teems with vibrant ecosystems and dynamic encounters. You might encounter bizarre creatures, navigate strange biomes, or creatively trap unsuspecting Trunkles. While Flux remains human, every other character is either alien or robotic, and the game doubles down on its trademark absurd humor with increasingly ridiculous item names.
Enhanced Gameplay Mechanics
Combat receives a complete overhaul, while base-building introduces new construction options including proper roofing and defensive structures. The expanded friendship system rewards players who assist alien inhabitants with new crafting recipes and abilities. A brand-new pet system lets players collect eggs, nurture hatchlings, and raise them into combat companions.
Unraveling an Intergalactic Mystery
Crashlands 2 reveals Flux's planetary mishap was no accident. As players explore and befriend locals, they'll uncover clues about a larger conspiracy. The sequel maintains the original's signature blend of survival mechanics, exploration, and irreverent storytelling while introducing meaningful improvements.
The game is now available on Google Play Store. Fans of quirky survival adventures can also check out our coverage of the newly released dynamic quarter-view ARPG Black Beacon.
