Dead Island 2's Patch 6 introduces thrilling new game modes and content! This update brings a significant boost to the zombie-slaying experience.

New Game Plus (NG+) and Enhanced Challenges

The highly anticipated New Game Plus mode arrives, allowing players to replay the entire game at increased difficulty. Your leveled-up character, inventory, and skills carry over, but with added challenges. Expect three extra skill slots, a higher level cap, new weapons and skins, and fearsome new enemies.

Introducing the Revenants: These powerful Apex zombie variants boast enhanced abilities and behaviors designed to provide a truly intense challenge. Developers promise a significant difficulty increase in NG+, stating it will "push the challenge all the way up to 11." To counter this, all weapons in NG+ are more powerful than their base game counterparts, with increased fixed-rarity weapon drops.

Neighborhood Watch Horde Mode

A unique blend of horde and tower defense gameplay, Neighborhood Watch tasks you with defending your base over five in-game days. Spend the first four days fending off relentless zombie hordes while completing objectives to acquire essential gear.
