How to Stop the Feud in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (Battle of Frogs & Mice Quest Guide)

In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the feud between Prochek and Olbram threatens to escalate into a full-blown brawl unless you intervene. Here's how to peacefully resolve their conflict during the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" side quest.

How to Start the Battle of Frogs and Mice in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This side quest unlocks after completing either the Mice or Frogs quests for Prochek and Olbram. Regardless of your choice, speak to Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov to initiate "Battle of the Frogs and Mice." Then, head to the pasture to begin the quest.

Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?

You're again faced with a choice: Prochek or Olbram. However, a peaceful resolution is possible (detailed below). To side with either, speak to your chosen leader. Telling Prochek "Let’s get those Zhelejovites!" supports him; telling Olbram "Let’s go and see those Tachovites!" supports him. During negotiations at the pasture, a successful dialogue check might cause an enemy to flee, simplifying the fight. Winning the fight for either side earns you some groschen.

How to Stop the Feud

For a more satisfying outcome, try this: Before heading to the pasture, ask Prochek or Olbram if they're open to ending the feud. Then, go to Troskowitz and talk to Bailiff Thrush. Choose the dialogue option, “You’d finally have some peace.”

A successful dialogue check allows you to read the Troskowitz Chronicle in the scribe's room. If persuasion fails, sneak in (saving beforehand is advisable). After reading, speak with the scribe and select, “Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei.”

At the pasture, find three oak trees. Examine the middle tree to discover a nail. You can:

• Leave it: Equally divides the pasture.
• West Tree: Favors Tachov.
• East Tree: Favors Zhelejov.

The choice has minimal impact; select whichever you prefer. After placing the nail, speak with Bailiff Thrush again; he'll agree to end the feud.
