Final Fantasy XVI's PC Debut: September 17th
Square Enix has officially announced that the acclaimed Final Fantasy XVI will launch on PC on September 17th. This announcement signals a positive shift for the franchise's PC presence, with the director suggesting the potential for simultaneous multi-platform releases in the future.
The PC version will be priced at $49.99, with a Complete Edition available for $69.99. The Complete Edition includes both story expansions: Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. In an interview with Rock Paper Shotgun, FFXVI Director Hiroshi Takai highlighted the PC version's enhanced capabilities, stating, "we've increased the frame rate cap to 240fps, and you can choose from various upscaling technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS3, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS."
