Free Fire Marks 7th Anniversary with Exclusive Events
Starting tomorrow, the popular survival shooter Free Fire will kick off its 7th-anniversary celebration, running through July 25th. The event promises a mix of nostalgia, companionship, and celebration, offering players a chance to dive into limited-time game modes and claim classic weapons from the game's past. You'll be immersed in anniversary-themed festivities and can earn various rewards throughout the event.
The 7th-anniversary event will showcase a special documentary, an anniversary theme song music video, and more. From now until July 21st, explore a miniature version of Bermuda Peak in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. During the anniversary celebration, you'll find yourself on Mini Peak, a floating island packed with iconic features.
Participate in the Friends' Echoes event in Battle Royale mode, where you can interact with other players' silhouettes to redeem in-match rewards. Use Memory Portals scattered across the map to teleport between Mini Peak and a fun-sized copy of the old Bermuda Peak.
During the Friends' Echoes event, earn Memory Points by defeating enemies or destroying anniversary-themed boxes scattered around the map. Use these Memory Points to access the Glider, which will take you to the limited-time Hall of Honor where you can claim Nostalgic Weapons—buffed versions of classic weapons from years past.
Free Fire is also expressing gratitude to its players with a range of free rewards, including an anniversary-themed male bundle and a themed baseball bat. You might even win a limited-edition 7th-anniversary Gloo Wall through the Gloo Wall Relay preheat draw on June 26th. Alongside these festivities, gameplay optimizations like weapon adjustments are being introduced, and a new character, Kassie the neuroscientist, is joining the game.
A new first-person perspective mode is launching for Clash Squad, promising smoother shooting mechanics. Additionally, the beloved Zombie Uprising mode returns as Zombie Graveyard, allowing groups of 4 or 5 players to team up and take on hordes of zombies during the festivities.
