Genshin Impact Officially Reveals Yumemizuki Mizuki for Version 5.4

Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Yumemizuki Mizuki Arrives

Version 5.4 of Genshin Impact introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character hailing from Inazuma. This update follows the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3 and offers a smaller-scale Inazuma-focused adventure. The flagship event will center around yokai, with prominent involvement from Yae Miko.

Mizuki, heavily rumored since late 2024, joins the game as a Standard Banner character, as confirmed by the Version 5.4 beta. Gameplay-wise, she functions similarly to Sucrose but with added healing capabilities. Her versatile role makes her a valuable asset to many team compositions, particularly Taser teams.

While her official reveal on the Genshin Impact Twitter account was slightly delayed, the drip marketing campaign unveiled her dual identity as a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her established friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with the flagship event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also planned for Version 5.4.

Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:

  • Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Vision: Anemo
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Constellation: Tapirus Somniator

Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Note that Mizuki will transition to the Standard Banner after Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize obtaining her Signature Weapon.

A Smaller-Scale Update:

Unlike the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined experience. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem rewards will be lower than usual. Players aiming for characters like Furina or Wriothesley from Fontaine should strategically save their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4.
