Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces Golden Idols, unique quest items not automatically logged. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't traded with NPCs to advance a questline; instead, they're valuable commodities. There are five to discover.

Locating the Golden Idols in PoE 2

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3 and traveling through a time portal, you'll arrive in Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present). This ancient Vaal city holds three idols, with two more in the connected Aggorat area. These idols aren't random enemy drops; they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Selling Your Golden Idols

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and sell them to Oswald (located in the north). He's the only vendor who accepts these items.

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Finding all five yields a substantial 6000 Gold reward. Since they only serve as high-value sellable items, it's advisable to sell them immediately to free up inventory space.
