How to Unlock 'Under the Straw Hat' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To begin "Under the Straw Hat," you first need to initiate the "In Vino Veritas" quest. Upon arriving in Kuttenberg, locate Casper Rudolf on the west side of the city, where he's offering free wine samples. Casper needs your help to gather information to enhance his wine. You have two paths to proceed:

• Direct Approach: Head straight to Havel and impress him with your wine knowledge. Ensure you're dressed in fancy clothes and are clean. When conversing with Havel, select "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It’s missing ginger" as your responses to extract the necessary information. Return to Casper with your findings.
• Alternative Route: Retrieve Casper's book from Adleta and study it to gain more wine knowledge before approaching Havel.

Access the Vineyard

Next, Casper tasks you with infiltrating a vineyard north of Kuttenberg to learn more about the incense Havel mentioned. Avoid trespassing by sticking to the main road into the vineyard. Speak with the recruiter to officially start the "Under the Straw Hat" quest. Continue along the road, pass the guard, and find Jerome on a bench. Inform Jerome that you've been instructed to report there, and he'll brief you on working at the vineyard.

Working at the Vineyard

Your job at the vineyard begins the following day. After resting, return to the vineyard in the morning. You can choose to work by moving sacks and picking plants like Thistle around the vines to earn payment, or you can focus solely on obtaining the secret incense.

The incense is located in the wine cellar of the main building, accessible from downstairs where you met Jerome. Since this area is restricted, you'll need either a lockpick or to steal the keys from Jerome to enter. Inside the cellar, find a chest and take all the Sulphur Wicks to complete the main objective. For an additional reward, you can also collect seedlings. From the main building's entrance, head straight across to find the seedlings, but be quick as this is also a restricted area.

If you've worked, collect your pay from Jerome at the end of the day. Otherwise, return to Casper with the Sulphur Wicks and any seedlings you've gathered.

Completing these tasks will successfully finish both the "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas" quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, allowing you to progress to other side quests like "Master Schindel’s Toys."
