Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor: A 2025 Roadmap of New Content and Features

Get ready for a thrilling year in Hearthstone! 2025 promises a whirlwind of surprises, innovative gameplay, and exciting new features. Expect the usual three expansions, Mini-Sets, and Battlegrounds seasons, all launching soon. The positive reception to the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set has clearly energized Blizzard, fueling their commitment to ongoing fun throughout the year. A recently released roadmap offers a sneak peek at what's in store.

What Awaits Us in the Year of the Raptor?

A major highlight is the highly anticipated Arena revamp. In development since last year, this update ushers in a new era for Arena, breathing fresh life into a Hearthstone staple.

Cosmetics receive a significant upgrade as well. New Mythic skins and Signature cards are on the way, along with a brand-new addition: Pets! These adorable companions will be integrated into a fresh cosmetic acquisition system, though the specifics remain under wraps for now.

The Year of the Raptor officially begins with the first expansion, Into the Emerald Dream. Card reveals commence next week, but in-game celebrations are already underway. Complete the Event Track to earn rewards including The Great Dark Beyond Epic cards, packs from the new expansion, and a Raptor Herald card.

A dynamic new game board debuts alongside the expansion. This Year of the Raptor board will remain a Hearthstone fixture throughout the year, receiving visual and audio enhancements with each subsequent expansion.
