Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered: How To Get Effects Of Two Outfits Simultaneously
Master the Dual Outfit Technique in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered!
This guide details how to combine the benefits of two outfits in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, leveraging the game's transmog feature. This method isn't available in the original game.
Remastered Version Required
The dual outfit method relies on the transmog feature introduced in the Remastered version. This allows you to equip one outfit for its stats while visually wearing another.
Outfit Requirements
This technique works with any outfit you choose plus one of these three:
- Banuk Werak Runner
- Banuk Werak Chieftain
- Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept (New Game Plus only)
These outfits are located in the Frozen Wilds DLC, accessible without completing the main game.
Obtaining the Banuk Werak Outfits
-
Banuk Werak Runner: Purchase this outfit from any Bluegleam Merchant in the Frozen Wilds after reaching the expansion area. Costs vary depending on difficulty.
Resource Normal Cost Ultra Hard Cost Metal Shards 1000 5000 Desert Glass 10 20 Slagshine Glass 10 20 -
Banuk Werak Chieftain & Adept: Complete the "For the Werak" quest (Frozen Wilds' third main quest). The Adept version is available only in New Game Plus. Consider lowering the difficulty if needed.
Combining Outfit Effects
Follow these steps:
- Equip your desired outfit (the one with the stats you want; improve stats using Weaves).
- Use the transmog feature to change the appearance to one of the three Banuk Werak outfits.
This keeps your chosen outfit's stats while adding the auto-healing effect of the Banuk Werak outfit. The Chieftain and Chieftain Adept offer faster healing than the Runner. Combining this with an outfit like the Shield Weaver makes you incredibly resilient.
