Following several Closed Alpha tests, 1047 Games is thrilled to announce the Splitgate 2 Open Alpha Test, open to all players on February 27th, 2025! This five-day event (ending March 2nd) will be available on PC and all major consoles.

How to Participate:

On February 27th, simply follow these steps:

1. Visit your preferred digital storefront (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, etc.).
2. Search for "Splitgate 2".
3. Download the Crossplay Alpha Test.

What Awaits You:

The Open Alpha will showcase the game's core cross-play functionality and introduce the thrilling new 24-player mode: Multi-Team Portal Warfare. This massive mode pits three teams of eight against each other on Splitgate's largest map yet. Expect to test out new weapons, perks, and equipment within the familiar, fast-paced Splitgate gameplay.

The iconic portal mechanics remain central to the experience, enhanced by community feedback. While new classes with unique abilities will be introduced, the core gameplay loop that made the original a hit will be front and center.
