The "heavy footsteps" perk causes footwear to deteriorate faster and makes footsteps louder, compromising stealth. The "dimwit" perk reduces experience gain by 20%—a disadvantage the developers playfully highlight twice in the description. The "sweaty" perk makes the protagonist soiled and smelly more quickly, affecting how others interact with him. The "ugly mug" perk increases the chance that random encounters become full-on brawls, as opponents will refuse to surrender and fight to the death.
