Konami Announces 2025 Release Date for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Remake

Konami's developers have shared updates on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake, aiming for a 2025 release. Series producer Noriaki Okamura emphasized their commitment to delivering a high-quality, polished game that meets fan expectations.

Okamura stated in a 4Gamer interview that 2024's focus was on completing the game, with the remaining time dedicated to refining details and enhancing overall quality. While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 launch, the remake is now officially targeted for next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake promises to retain the original's core essence while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and enhanced visuals. Beyond graphical improvements, Okamura also highlighted the addition of new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. This over two-minute trailer showcased key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, an airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
