Larian Seeks Community Feedback for Baldur

Larian Studios announced on a Steam post that a stress test for Patch 8 is planned for January. This test will be available on PC via Steam, and on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Mac and GOG users will not have access. Registration is currently open.

Larian aims to thoroughly test Patch 8 for bugs and gameplay issues before its official release. They're particularly focused on crossplay functionality, stating that implementing it in a game as large as Baldur's Gate 3 has been challenging and requires player assistance. Larian encourages players to register and invite friends to participate in crossplay testing, or to find groups through the Larian Studios Discord server.

While Patch 8 marks the final major update for Baldur's Gate 3, Larian committed to ongoing support for modders, promising substantial future updates to enhance modding capabilities and allow for richer storytelling. Since September's release of official mod tools, players have downloaded over 70 million modules and uploaded over 3,000 mods.
