One More Level, Creators of Ghostrunner, Reveal Image of Their New Game

One More Level, creators of the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, have revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. This action game, boasting an average critical reception of 80% for its predecessor, departs from the Ghostrunner franchise's cyberpunk setting. Instead, Cyber Slash plunges players into a dark, alternate version of the Napoleonic era, promising an epic and challenging experience.

While Ghostrunner emphasized precise timing and single-hit kills, Cyber Slash will offer a distinct gameplay loop. Although parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain central, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, suggesting a unique progression system. This distinguishes it from traditional Souls-like mechanics.

Another One More Level project, Project Swift, is slated for a 2028 release, making the newly unveiled image almost certainly related to Cyber Slash.
