Monster Hunter: Rise Season 5: "The Blossoming Blade" on the Horizon
Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek:
Before Season 5 officially begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra starting February 28th, marking its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. The season launch will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the game's roster.
Weapon Enhancements:
Expect significant balance adjustments to weapons, aiming to improve the viability and enjoyment of each type. The Sword & Shield receives a buff for easier tail-breaking, while the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with enhanced power and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill is also receiving a much-needed upgrade, with higher skill levels now providing noticeable damage reduction when blocking. Further details on these and other weapon tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.
More New Features:
Season 5 addresses a common player frustration: overflowing inventories! An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots.
A brand-new feature arrives on March 17th, celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary. This feature allows players to exchange special materials obtained from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
