Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Gets Extra 24 Hours After PSN Outage

Author : Ryan Update : Feb 21,2025

Capcom extends the Monster Hunter Wilds beta test due to a PlayStation Network outage. The PSN outage, lasting approximately 24 hours on February 7th, prevented online gameplay, impacting the beta's weekend session (February 6th-9th).

In response to the widespread disruption, Sony compensated PlayStation Plus subscribers with five extra days of service. Capcom has announced a 24-hour extension to the next beta session, now scheduled for Thursday, February 13th, 7 PM PT to Monday, February 17th, 6:59 PM PT. (This translates to February 14th, 3 AM GMT to February 18th, 2:59 AM GMT).

Participation bonuses, redeemable in the full game, remain available during this extended period. The beta allowed players to encounter Arkveld, a challenging new monster.

Monster Hunter Wilds officially launches on February 28th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
