Locate Mutt, Your Loyal Canine Companion, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Mutt, Henry's faithful dog in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, disappears early in the game. This guide provides a straightforward method to reunite with him.

Mutt's Location:

Mutt is located near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp, east of the river bathing spot. The image below pinpoints his exact location.

Fast travel to the Nomads' Camp for easiest access. Follow the path southwest into the woods; you'll likely reach the cave's summit. You'll hear Mutt's whimpers as you approach. He's in a clearing near the cave, surrounded by wolves.

Approaching triggers a cutscene introducing Mutt's in-battle commands. Choose to fight or flee the wolves. While combat is manageable, fighting provides valuable skill-leveling opportunities.

After the wolf encounter, Mutt becomes your companion. Hold L1 (while facing him) to interact, feeding him or sending him home.

Finding Mutt During the "Invaders" Side Quest:

Interestingly, you might discover Mutt's location during the "Invaders" quest, particularly if you interact with the Cumans. Following Vasko while intoxicated leads directly to the cave, triggering the cutscene. However, attempting this while drunk and in the dark is highly challenging. It's strongly recommended to rescue Mutt before continuing the "Invaders" quest to avoid a difficult, potentially fatal encounter.
