Nintendo Adding Wario Land 4 to Nintendo Switch Online Library

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with the Expansion Pack will soon be able to enjoy the classic Game Boy Advance title, Wario Land 4, launching on February 14th.

A recently released trailer showcases the game's return. Access is included at no additional cost for existing Expansion Pack members.

The game's synopsis teases Wario's latest treasure hunt: "The mischievous Wario returns, this time seeking untold riches. Ignoring all warnings, he ventures into a cursed pyramid rumored to hold vast gold and jewels. Our anti-hero soon discovers the curse is no laughing matter, realizing survival itself is a challenge."

Players can anticipate 20 expansive levels filled with challenges. Collected gold and treasure unlock bonus items after each stage, and a selection of engaging minigames provides a welcome respite.

Initially released in 2001, Wario Land 4 received critical acclaim, earning a 9/10 rating from IGN. The review praised its diverse level design and challenging gameplay, highlighting its unique approach to puzzle-solving within the side-scrolling genre.

This marks the 24th Game Boy Advance title added to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack library, joining a roster of popular games including Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
