Accessing the Dark Aether Nexus and Initial Pack-a-Punch Location

Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch machine's location is the key. This involves opening the "Doorway to Nowhere," a teleporter leading to the Dark Aether nexus.

Find the Subterranean Temple. Progress through the map, opening doors until you reach it. Locate the altar and interact with it using the Amulet (you'll start with it). The Doorway will open, granting access to the Dark Aether Nexus.

The Pack-a-Punch machine initially resides within the Dark Aether Nexus, near the center. However, its location changes.

Locating the Pack-a-Punch Machine's Dynamic Location

The Pack-a-Punch can appear in two places: the Dark Aether Nexus (its initial spawn) and the Roman Mausoleum (an ornate ruin atop the Dig Site).

Use your Tac-Map to determine its location. The main map and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon isn't on one map, it's on the other.

Alternatively, consult the illuminated stone slab. This slab displays the Pack-a-Punch's location. If the symbol is on the main map, head there. If it's on a separate island, it's in the Dark Aether Nexus.
