Should You Help Prochek or Olbram in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? (Mice & Frogs Quest Guide)

Author : Madison Update : Mar 17,2025

Early in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you'll encounter side quests in Tachov and Zhelejov, requiring you to choose between helping Prochek or Olbram. This guide clarifies whether assisting both is possible and which choice is preferable.

Can You Help Both Prochek and Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*?

While Tachov and Zhelejov are locked in a bitter feud, you can actually complete most quests for both Prochek and Olbram. This strategic approach allows you to explore the rich backstories of both settlements. Although a completely favorable outcome for both is impossible, this path unlocks more of the game's content.

Should You Choose Prochek or Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*?

If choosing just one side, there's little difference. Both aim to sabotage each other, making the decision purely a matter of personal preference for the quest's humor. Olbram tasks you with stealing Zhelejov's maypole—a nighttime stealth operation. Prochek requests you paint Olbram's bull blue, requiring a recipe from Radovan and dye from the tailor. Prochek's task might be slightly harder early on, potentially requiring more groschen or Speech skill. The choice depends on your preferred playstyle and resources.

How to Start "Mice" for Prochek in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*

Speak to Prochek in Tachov; if he's not readily found, inquire at the local inn.

Obtaining the Dye and Lullaby Potion

Ingredients for Lullaby Potion

Purchase dye from Bartoshek, the tailor in Troskowitz. The Lullaby Potion recipe (oil, poppy, thistle) can be obtained by working for Radovan or charming him. Gather the herbs from the apothecary garden in Troskowitz. Brew the potion, then head to Zhelejov, apply it to the bull's trough, and paint the bull once it's asleep. Report back to Prochek.

How to Start "Frogs" for Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*

Find Olbram near the meadow in Zhelejov and agree to steal the Tachov maypole to begin the "Frogs" quest.

Stealing the Maypole

Proceed to Tachov in the evening. You can either knock out Henrik, the guard, or (with sufficient Speech) persuade him to leave his post. If persuading, speak with him about Manka, arrange a date, and inform Manka at the inn. Once Henrik leaves, climb and chop down the maypole. Return to Olbram to complete this stage. He'll then request you chase sheep from Tachov's pasture and deliver a digestive potion to Alshik.

You can choose to complete Olbram's requests fully or inform Prochek of Olbram's plans, concluding both quests.
