Sony has clarified that the $10 upgrade option for the PlayStation 5 remastered version is exclusively available to owners of the PlayStation 4 disc or digital copy of *Days Gone*. Unfortunately, this means that those who obtained the game through the PS Plus subscription service, including the now-defunct PS Plus Collection and the Essential monthly offering in April 2021, are not eligible for this discounted upgrade. Instead, these subscribers must pay the full price of $49.99 to access the new PS5 version.
