A 2026 Release

Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is slated for release in 2026. Building upon the exhilarating gameplay of their acclaimed title, Returnal, Saros introduces a fresh narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.

Evolving the Returnal Formula

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone as a distinct IP. Saros iterates on Returnal's core mechanics and narrative, but with a key difference: permanent and evolving loadouts. Players will build upon their arsenal of weapons and suits, embodying the game's core concept: "Come Back Stronger." This progression system contrasts with Returnal's roguelike structure, allowing for sustained character development and overcoming challenges through strategic loadout management.
