This exciting collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism immerses players in the rich heritage of Dunhuang, a historic Chinese city bordering the Gobi Desert. Prepare for a unique blend of detective work and ancient Chinese culture!

What "Ballad of the Dunes" Brings to Tears of Themis

This crossover event masterfully intertwines history, romance, and mystery within the evocative setting of the ancient Silk Road. Solve intriguing puzzles while surrounded by the sights and sounds of Dunhuang's captivating past. Here's what awaits you:

Four stunning new MR cards featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each inspired by distinct aspects of Dunhuang's cultural heritage. Discover flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the iconic pipa—instruments played behind the back, just like the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves. This digital recreation of the Silk Road's artistic and cultural fusion, dating back to the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD), is a true visual feast.

Each card boasts a unique story: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." Uncover deeper narratives and a thousand-year journey through their accompanying Private Messages.
