Unlike detailed statistical recaps from other platforms like Spotify Wrapped, Snap Recap provides a curated selection of your Snaps. It chooses one representative Snap from each month, creating a nostalgic slideshow of your year. This differs from other year-in-review features, focusing on visual memories rather than quantitative data. The recap seamlessly integrates with Snapchat's Memories feature, allowing you to explore further flashbacks from previous years.

How to Access Your 2024 Snap Recap

Accessing your personalized recap is simple. On the main Snapchat camera screen, swipe up to open Memories. You'll find your 2024 Snap Recap prominently displayed as a highlighted video.

Tap the video (avoiding the share icon) to start the recap. The slideshow plays automatically, showcasing your chosen Snaps. You can tap the screen to advance through the memories at your own pace.

Sharing and Editing Your Recap

Your Snap Recap can be saved, edited, and shared just like any other Snap. Share it to your Story or keep it private – the choice is yours.

Why Don't I Have a Snap Recap?

If your Snap Recap isn't appearing, don't worry. Snapchat confirms a staggered rollout, meaning yours may simply not be ready yet. The frequency of your Snap usage also plays a role; consistent use and saved Snaps increase the likelihood of receiving a recap.
