Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Restoring Morph Paintings is a rewarding yet straightforward task. Your mission is to find the correct paintings and place them on their designated pedestals. Start by reading the descriptions on the pedestals, which will guide you to the matching portrait. Then, utilize your Levitator utility to position the painting where it belongs. The game usually switches your equipped utility to the Levitator automatically, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab/D-Pad Left.

Currently, Wuthering Waves features two such paintings, which are linked to the quests Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

As part of the Shadows of the Past questline, players will journey through the three towers in Thorncrown at Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower presents a unique Morph Painting puzzle. To crack it, use the large central painting as your guide and follow these steps:

• Exchange the paintings located at the front-left and back-right positions.
• Move the painting from behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
• Retrieve the painting from behind the chairs on the right and place it at the front-right position.

Upon solving this puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

The Trials of Old quest sends players on a journey to complete four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. The key is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals in a sequence that tells a coherent story from left to right. The correct arrangement is depicted in the image above.

A handy tip: You'll know you've placed the right Morph Painting on the correct pedestal when the painting frame illuminates after insertion. This visual cue can simplify the puzzle-solving process significantly.
