Radio App for USB DAB+ Receivers: Optimized for Car Headunits

Experience seamless control of your USB DAB+ receiver with our user-friendly app, designed specifically for car headunits. The app features a straightforward interface, ensuring a smooth slideshow experience, although it does not include station logos. Importantly, no internet connection is required for operation.

Important Note: To use this app, you must have a USB receiver with one of the following device IDs:

• 0416:b003
• 0fd9:004c
• 16c0:05dc
• 1d19:110d

Without a compatible receiver, the app will not function.

New Features in Version 1.1.6:

• Save and Share Infotext: Easily save the currently visible infotext to a file, which you can then append, share, or export as needed.

Existing Features:

• Color Customization: Personalize the info text color by simply touching and holding the info text area.
• Steering Wheel Compatibility: Experimental support for steering wheel buttons:
  • Skip Next = Next Station
  • Skip Previous = Previous Station
  • Play = Next Filter (cycles through "All," "Selected Program Type," "Favourites")

This app is not intended to compete with the highly regarded "DAB-Z" app. Instead, it is tailored for users with larger fingers and less responsive touchscreens, offering an interface that's easy to navigate.

The design is optimized for car screens with a resolution of 1024x600 in landscape mode. If your screen has a different resolution and the app appears distorted, please visit our support page at XDA Developers for assistance.

Our app is built on the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), which is released under the Apache License 2.0.
