Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back to October 2025, as announced by the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, alongside a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been keeping the community engaged with Dev Diaries over the past few months, covering characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's final polish, all Dev Diaries will be paused for the time being.

First Revealed in 2019

Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, initially slated for a March 2020 release. The game was originally developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, in October 2019, the release was postponed to a later date in 2020, and subsequently to 2021.

During this period, the project saw several key personnel departures. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive revealed that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, with The Chinese Room taking over development. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, later shifted to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
