"Cyberpunk Game 'Replaced' Delayed to 2024"
In the latest financial report from Thunderful Group, which has experienced multiple rounds of layoffs, an intriguing update on the cyberpunk platformer *Replaced* has come to light. The report indicates that fans of the game will have to wait until 2026 to play it, marking yet another delay for the much-anticipated title.
Sad Cat Studios, the developers behind *Replaced*, had previously announced a delay pushing the release to 2025, citing the game's development as a "unique challenge". Initially slated for a 2022 launch, the game faced subsequent postponements to 2023 and then to the previous year. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a high-quality product, motivated by the significant attention and high expectations from the gaming community.
*Replaced* was first unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's presentation at the now-discontinued E3 event, generating considerable excitement among gamers.
While Sad Cat has yet to address this most recent delay, the studio has not been entirely silent on the project. Throughout the year, they have shared updates, including combat footage and a mini-game demonstration this summer, keeping the community engaged and informed about the progress of *Replaced*.
