Netflix has tantalized us with a teaser trailer that packs the signature *Love, Death + Robots* punch of stunning visuals alongside a lineup of intriguingly bizarre concepts. Here are just a few highlights glimpsed within the brief minute of footage:

  • An epic space battle or catastrophic event
  • A rock band composed of puppets
  • An adult toy brought to life with giant eyes through claymation
  • A priest accompanied by an alien sporting tentacles, strolling along a beach
  • A tormented, possibly bionic woman with a charming fuzzball as her companion
  • Enormous, menacing babies
  • Dinosaurs engaging in violent combat
  • An alien invasion depicted through miniatures
  • A cat, playing the role of a disgusted voyeur

The creative minds behind this anthology include executive producers Tim Miller, renowned for directing *Deadpool*, and David Fincher, celebrated for *Seven* and *The Social Network*. Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who contributed to *Kung Fu Panda 2* and *Shrek Forever After*, returns to helm the series as the supervising director.

In a 2022 interview with Collider, David Fincher shared his aspirations for the series, stating, "If the legacy of *Love, Death + Robots* is that there are a handful, fifteen people, ten years from now who became directors or became animators or became motion capture performers or doing voice work because they were such big *Love, Death + Robots* fans, that's all I care about right now."

He further emphasized the passion driving the project, noting, "This show was never going to pay for your Gulf Stream. You're either here because you want to be here or you're not here. We're hoping desperately to get to waste more of our lives toiling in obscurity."
