The Fuecoco Community Day is set to launch in Pokemon GO on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During these three hours, Fuecoco will appear more frequently in the wild, as highlighted in the Pokemon GO event announcement. In our experience, Community Day featured Pokemon typically dominate spawns, making up about 80-90% of encounters. This makes it an excellent opportunity to gather enough Candies to evolve and power up Fuecoco's entire evolution line, enhancing your competitive team.

Can Fuecoco Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?

Yes, you can encounter a Shiny Fuecoco during the Community Day, with the odds boosted to 1 in 25. Normally, the chances of finding a Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon GO are 1 in 512, so this event significantly increases your chances of adding a unique variant to your collection. Although it's not guaranteed with every encounter, with persistence, you're likely to find a Shiny Fuecoco within the event's timeframe.

Fuecoco’s Evolutions in Pokemon GO

Fuecoco evolves into Crocalor and then into Skeledirge, requiring 25 and 100 Fuecoco Candies respectively. Both evolutions are already available in Pokemon GO, but the Community Day offers a unique chance to obtain a Skeledirge with an exclusive move.

Skeledirge Featured Attack

Evolving Fuecoco into Crocalor during the Community Day on March 8 or up to a week afterward will allow you to evolve it further into Skeledirge, which will know the Charged Attack Blast Burn. This powerful move is not typically part of Skeledirge's moveset.

Torch Song Update

Additionally, Skeledirge can learn Torch Song, a Charged Attack that not only deals damage but also boosts its Attack stat by one stage in Pokemon GO battles. This move will be available during and after the Community Day.

Community Day Event Bonuses

During the Fuecoco Community Day, and until 10:00 PM on March 8, you'll benefit from the following bonuses:

• 300% more Stardust from catching Pokemon
• Double the Candy for each catch
• Double the chance for Trainers Level 31 and above to receive XL Candy from catches
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
• Incenses used during the event will last for three hours
• A surprise event when taking snapshots
• Ability to perform two Special Trades per day instead of one
• 50% less Stardust required for trades

Tips for the Fuecoco Community Day in Pokemon Go

To maximize your experience during the Fuecoco Community Day, stock up on Pinap Berries. With the event's double Candy bonus, using a Pinap Berry will increase the Candy you receive from each Fuecoco catch from six to twelve.
