Genshin Impact 5.0 Update Leaks: New Dendro DPS Character Revealed

New leaks for Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.0 update reveal details about a highly anticipated new character. The update, following the conclusion of Fontaine's storyline, will introduce the Natlan region, a Pyro nation known for its warlike nature and its Archon, Murata, the God of War.

Uncle K, a known Genshin Impact leaker, has shared information about a new 5-star Dendro DPS character. This character's abilities will center around the Bloom and Burning elemental reactions. Bloom combines Dendro and Hydro, creating explosive Dendro Cores, while Burning inflicts a damage-over-time (DoT) effect by combining Dendro and Pyro. This will be the first 5-star Claymore-wielding Dendro character.

Community Concerns about Burning Reaction

The reliance on the Burning reaction has raised concerns among some players, as it is generally considered less potent than other Dendro reactions. This contrasts with the upcoming 4.8 update's 5-star Dendro support character, Emilie, initially designed around Burning but subsequently buffed for greater team versatility.
